Americas Next Top High Fashion Model

After revealing the next cycle of Americas Next Top Model which is the ANTM Cycle 15 about last September 2010, I was so amazed by their new prizes. Goodbye Seventeen Magazine and here it comes, cover of Beauty in Vogue and a fashion spread sheet of Italian Vouge magazine – one of the most high fashion magazines in the entire world, a contract with IMG Models agency, it's one of the top international modeling management companies in the world and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics. Totally WOW! And also about the judges. It's freaking me out! All judges are famous. Literally FAMOUS...

The first is top beauty photographer Matthew Rolston, he is awesome photographer who makes stunning pictures you will be totally inspired by his work.

The next is top fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, this guy is a professional, he can catch the real fierceness and his photos are always the best of the best.

Francesco Carrozzini is Italian photographer – extraordinary fresh and style photographs is his style.

several high fashion designers...

Diane Von Furstenberg,

Patricia Field,

Zac Posen,

Margherita Missoni,

Roberto Cavalli,

supermodel Karolina Kurkova,

IMG Models executive Kyle Hagler

and Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani.

And of course you now our main personages:

Andre Leon Talley,

fashion photographer Nigel Barker,

runway diva Miss J Alexander,

photo shoot creative director Jay Manuel

and dazzling model, show leading and fashion lady Tyra Banks.

Now when you know all the people and targets, here comes now the Finalists of Americas Next Top Model Cycle 15.

Anne, Chelsey, Chris, Ester, Jane, Kacey, Kayla
Kendal, Lexie, Liz, Rhianna, Sara and Terra

Anamaria was also 1 of the finalist but she didn't make it to the make over. She was the first finalist who was eliminated with judge Diane Von Furstenberg.

Terra was the one who's eliminated during the make over session.

Sara was the 3rd evictee during the dark fallen angel concept photo shoot on Episode 3 with judge Patricia Field.

Rhiana was the 4th evictee with the under water concept on episode 4 with judge Matthew Rolston.

Lexie was evicted on episode 5 during the photo shoot with rock star girl doing heavy weight wrestling with the wrestlers from Lucha Vavoom and judged together with Karolina Kurkova.

Kacey was evicted on the 6th episode doing with a group photo shoot and a beauty shot with judge Patrick Demarchelier.

Kendal was the 7th evictee. They were asked to portray an iconic fashion designers for the photo shoot concept and photographed by Francesco Carrozzini, who was also that week’s guest judge.

Esther was evicted on the 8th episode wherein they do the commercial thing. This picture was the last photo shoot taken during episode 7. Episode 8 guest judge was Zac Posen.

With the guest judge Margherita Missoni and a group photo shoot at Italy, Liz was eliminated on the 9th Episode.

On the 10th episode of ANTM Cycle 15, the girls receive a head-to-toe transformation to become real-life statues and Chris was eliminated with guest judge Kyle Hagler.

Tyra directs the remaining girls during a motion editorial challenge that requires them to bring their poses to life with movement and emotion on America's Next Top Model. Together with the guest judge Franca Sozzani, they decided to eliminate 2 of the 4 remaining girls and both Kayla and Jane were out on Episode 11th.

The finale of America's Next Top Model, cycle 15, featured two remaining contestants, Chelsey and Ann. Ann Ward is from Dallas and was put in the “quirky” model category because of her tall frame, stick-out ears, and teeny tiny waist. Chelsey has a gap in her teeth but still carries that “perfect American girl” look that several of the judges commented upon.

Their tasks in the final episode included: a Cover Girl photo shoot from each model, a Cover Girl commercial with the two of them together, a runway walk at a Roberto Cavalli event, and an interview with a high-up at IMG Models.

and Chelsey was evicted during final judgment.

That proved to be an inspiring moment when Ann won the final competition over Chelsey. Cavalli called Chelsey's photo “too beautiful” and other judges said they liked Ann's pain and fear, which was evident in her photos. While Chelsey was again put into the “perfect American girl” category, judges agreed that Ann has the strongest ability to be a star because her face is fresh and new. They were also surprised by Ann's personable style and acting ability in the Cover Girl commercial, a piece that surprised us too.

We felt proud to watch Ann, the model who didn't seem to even have a chance at winning, to do just that.

Says Ann: “Being on America's Next Top Model and actually having an advantage to be unique is just a great thing.”

My loving friend

I turned my PC on and logged in on Facebook.
I checked my notifications, friend requests and mails and etc. etc.
While I was reading the different status of my friends, my eyes were about to popped out when I saw and read this one status of my friend TEdoi Velarde Descarial

he said,

"i will surely miss u Bon Gregor Napala ,,, may u have rest in peace.:(( really cant beliv,,love u so much..."

I thought it was a joke but then when I opened the wall of Bon on facebook, there it was. I read all the comments and everything... Goosebumps starts and my mouth was opened unconsciously. Oh my God, why this sudden thing happened? I can't believe it! What happened? I asked to everyone but only  Mimi Preciousa answered me. We talked thru land line and there it was, I found out that Bon passed away last night 1:45am due to Meningitis.

I don't have any idea what is this Meningitis all about so I researched on the internet. I found out that Meningitis is an inflammation of the meninges, the membrane covering the brain and spinal cord. It can develop very rapidly and is very serious. There are many different types of meningitis. The two main forms are viral and bacterial. Viral meningitis is the most common type and can be relatively mild. Some sufferers are not even aware that they have an infection. The bacterial form is rare (about 2000 cases a year), but is life threatening and requires prompt treatment. Bacterial meningitis also comes in many forms. It is always a serious and severe illness, but rapidly developing complications can make it even more dangerous. Depending on the type, bacterial meningitis is fatal in 10 per cent of cases and can cause serious disability such as deafness or brain damage in 15-25 per cent of cases. Immediate treatment is vital. Septicemia (blood poisoning) is a complication of meningitis caused by bacteria entering the bloodstream and multiplying rapidly. The septicemic form of meningitis is the most dangerous.

and if you are going to question about the symptoms of this sickness, the answer is there's no textbook pattern to the disease. Symptoms can occur in any order or may not appear at all.

Oh my God Bon, Why you? Of all the people in this world, why you?

I can still remember those days that we are trying to impersonate the Spice Girls group. There are 5 of us, and you are impersonating Baby Spice. Our group was the best during those years. We laugh and we cry together at all times.

Bon Gregor Napala touched many lives, that's how friendly and loving he was and I am one of them. I want to thank Bon for the days wherein when I don't have any money, he lend me some. When I don't have any toys to play with, he let me borrow his pink power ranger action figure. When I don't have any assignment, he let me copy his homework. When I don't have any company during recess, he sit beside me and talked to me. Even if we argue that much still we tend to fix it as soon as possible because we don't want to end 1 day with any problems.

That's Bon, my loving friend.

We love you Bon, we will surely miss you. I know he's with you at this moment. Take Care. May you rest in peace.

Instant Millionaire

This Mega Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot made a history sa buong Pinas. Wooi! Katakot naman to ui. Kung sino man ang makatanggap nito is surely purely blessed! at sana ako nayun.

Main question:

What are you going to do if you are the chosen one na mananalo ng ganito kadaming pera?

First of all..

Talagang ganun noh? Send help for the least favored. xempre alam nyo na kung sino sino kayo, xet! para pantay-pantay na tayo, mayayaman! wala nang pinamatel-matel ang drama kasi alam na natin mayayaman na tayo haha..

and  Fifth, magshoshopping ako at magtatravel around the world ng over over!! Bahay, lupa, business, shoes, pants, shorts, shirts, bags, shades, etc. etc. at sisiguraduhin kong maglalaway ang mga taong nang api sakin haha!

and here's the next and final question that pops in my mind.

Tumataya ba ako sa lotto?

hahahahaha!
laughing out loud, lecheng pangarap to oh.
nakakasira ng bait..
makatulog nga at kahit sa panaginip man lng ai manalo ako.
hmmpf! haha!

Life of a Quality Assurance - Being Initiated (EU-TRTA)

A month ago, Mr. Charlie M. Lozarita, our Manager received an invitation for a the 3 days Workshop Training Seminar entitled Europian Union – Trade Related Technical Assistance 2 for the Traceability and Control of the Cold Chain Training Series for Stakeholders from BFAR. I was not expecting na i-reregister nya name ko at BFAR Region 12 na dapat he’s the one who should participate on the said event. So, lucky for me, makaka attend na me ng workshop for the first time, and I keep on telling to myself na I should motivate to form a new me, so nagreview ako ng HACCP namin. Review, review, review.

So the date comes, November 20, 2010, first day of seminar at Suncity Suites Pearl 1 Function hall.
As I entered the door, I was shocked seeing my Manager there na ang nakatatak sa isipan ko is, I’m the only one who’s going to represent the RDEX Company. Well, he explained to me that he listed he’s name also due to that RDEX have to Plants, 1 here in Calumpang and the other 1 is in Fishport so I was task to represent the Plant in Fishport. Lahat ng nireview kong HACCP ay nabaliwala. Perfect akong Manager (laughing out loud).

To continue, again, I really don’t have any idea bakit ako ang nakita or baka sikat lang talaga ako (bagag face) kasi naman kasi, Ms. Blossom of BFAR Region 12 appointed me to sing the National Anthem with the microphone. WOW! Perfect na morning ano? So that’s it. *funny*

We have this first speaker Mr. Vincent Andre, he discussed about the General and Specific requirements to Traceability in fishery value chain. I learned a lot, iba pala talaga pag nagwo-workshop but Mr. Andre didn’t make it till afternoon of that day because (malay ko). Pero huwag ka, Ms. Grace Sumaljag (recently QA Supervisor namin na nagtransfer ng Far East Company Davao) took pictures of him while he was discussing the topics to us.

Of course, nung papaalis na si Mr. Andre, talagang I asked him if I can have a picture with him, and he said “that would be great” so here it is (laughing out loud).

And hindi naman ako masyadong makasarili, pinagbigyan ko naman din ang group to take group pictures with Mr. Andre (laughing out loud again).

Before Mr. Andre leave the function hall, pinagawa nya kami ng activity and must explain later after lunch to the next and main speaker Ms. Elsie Marie Anderson. So sa dami-daming pwedeng mapili na mag sulat, Grace shouted “Si Dino hawod magsulat!” so lahat lahat tumingin sakin at sabay bigay ng Pentel pen marker. Haaayy naku Grace, pahamak ka tlaga, so deadma nalang and by the way, to all reader na hindi nakakakilala kay Ms. Grace Sumaljag, here she is. (Tabisi ang lokarit kong Supervisor dati)

 So it’s lunch time!
Na ang table where I was sitting was next to the food and ang pagkakaalam ko he was sitting next to his wife dun talaga sa pinaka dulo na table. Proweba? Eto oh..

So after eating and everything (reports, visual aids) were already set upped, ayun na.. Nagtulakan na, Who will be the reporter?
The majority said that Grace will be the one na magrereport and she said “No!! Ayoko ng magreport, tapos na ako jan. Yung baguhan nanaman” and suddenly everyone in the group looked and stared at me at sabay sigaw naman si Grace “Go Dino, Kaya mo yan!”. Oh my gulay, nagsulat na, magrereport pa. My heart starts to beat like a drum, nanlalamig nanaman mga kamay ko, ano kaba Grace, pahamak ka talaga sa buhay ko.
So luckily hindi ako nakunan ng picture while reporting pero ung mismong report namin na parang ewan na sa curtains idinikit lang ang nakunan.

So that’s the end for the first day.
On the second day, I came up late and even Grace was late (mga pasaway)
We now have this speaker Ms. Elsie Marie Anderson and she discussed the European Union Legal Requirements to Control of Food Safety.
That’s the day wherein I was so bored. My eyes are so heavy and I’m trying to focus on the discussion pero hindi talaga kinaya ng mata ko.
I talked to my Manager about that  and I went out by Lunch hahaha.

On the 3rd day, the last day, Grace didn’t showed up and Ms. Elsie Marie Anderson continued the discussion about the Spoilage, Cold Chains and etc, etc.
All of us wear our free uniforms and it fit exactly on me, nice. Ganahan koh hehe, Sample pic with Ms. Marelle of Sta. Cruz and Ms. Janel of Tenpoint (the one holding the cam).

Love it.. Diba? Hehe
So while Ms. Elsie  was discussing about the different topics, here comes the merienda! Sandwich and a glass of iced tea. (smile)

And again after the merienda, we had our lunch.
After the lunch, Ms. Elsie told us about the activity that we are going to do. The whole room was divided into 4 groups and my group was assigned to Control the time – temperature in a production of Fresh Tuna for export including the GMP, SSOP and HACCP. So ayun na, nagkagulo na. Halo-halong ideas. Again, even without Grace, ako naman ang naatasang magsulat. Grabe sila! (laughing out loud), talagang tinandaan nila yung purpose ko sa group. And because of the halo-halong ideas na natatanggap ko, hindi ko na alam what to write, my goodness.

Hanggang sa natapos na namin ang group work and we ended up with this kind of flow chart.

And here we go again, reporting na!!
At nagtulakan lang man kaming lahat and guess what, sino ang nagreport?
ME again, lain kayo sila ai, ako nalang always. Huhuhu caught in the act mxado ako while reporting ui. Hmmpf!
Antos nalang jud intawon ko. Again, grabe pump ng heartbeat ko and halos hindi na maintindihan pinagsasabi ko sa stage dahil sa kaba and the funny thing ever was, after I reported our group work activity, xempre nang dahil sa kulba, my hands got wet, and there’s this question which was being raised by Ma’am Claire of RR Company and I was mental blocked in front of the stage facing all this people (kahiya) so I called a help from my group mates, I passed the microphone to the speaker Ms. Elsie and she was grounded due to my wet hands (laughing out loud over over) meresi lang. hahaha

So that’s it. Every group had already done reporting and also that’s the end of the workshop training seminar.
Ms. Elsie Marie Anderson gave her closing remarks to everyone.

The Fresh Chilled Tuna Group

The Fishport Group

And of course the Region 12 group

And lastly, my Manager Mr. Charlie and his loving wife Ma’am Claire together with Ms. Elsie Marie Anderson.
